Yard Sale to benefit Cystic Fibrosis
My friend, Breann Bryant, is having a yard sale the end of March to benefit Cystic Fibrosis. She is currently looking for any donations of things that can be sold at the yard sale. If you have anything you'd like to donate please give me a call or email or leave a comment. I would be able to come and pick anything up. Breann has Cystic Fibrosis and is awesome about doing a fundraiser each year to raise money to help develop better treatment and hopefully a cure one day. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

You gotta love You Tube! This is one of the best!
This is a great video! Who knows, we might see this kid on American Idol in 15 years!
Reflections of Christ - amazing!

I just went last night to the Reflections of Christ exhibit at the Visitor's Center at the Mesa Temple. It was amazing! The Spirit was so strong there and it was just a great experience. The video was great and I definitely recommend seeing it when you go. The photos were absolutely beautiful and the music so perfect. Mark Mabry and everyone else involved did a wonderful job and I'm grateful to all of them for all the time and effort they put into it as it has blessed my life and so many others I'm sure. Definitely make sure you take the time to go down to the Visitor's Center and see the video and photos. I hope eventually these pictures and music we will be able to purchase.
Website about the display with some video from Mark and others talking about the process. The above picture is from the website and is one of the ones on display. To see the rest you'll have to go down to the exhibit!

Fun times at the zoo!
We went to the Phoenix Zoo yesterday since everyone had President's Day off. It was great weather and fun to see all the animals. We got to pet sting rays and these really little sharks, which was pretty cool.
Me and Madi. This is actually from a few weeks ago, but I happened to wear the exact same shirt this time, so the picture fits!
Steph and I in front the the giraffes.
Connor and Madi petting the goats. That's the only part Madison really liked. I think the rest she wasn't too impressed with. This is Connor's first visit to the zoo and I think he had a great time.
Daniel gave Madi a piece of licorice and that might have been the highlight of the whole trip for her. She's just starting out in this pic...

I figured out how to post from You Tube!
I know, not hard at all, but I'm so excited to have figured it out and also figured it was time to post something that didn't sound so melodramatic! I saw this video on another blog and thought it was pretty awesome. Hope you all enjoy!

Moving on
I have decided to get out of bed and go on in life. While this week has been quite rough (just see my two posts below and you'll know why) I have decided to pick myself up and move on. Life is not over and I am pulling myself out of my downward spiral so as not to end up in deep depression.
Seriously though, my sympathy and thoughts are with my beloved New England Patriots. Let's just put this behind us (yes I said us!) and move ahead to win it all next year.
In more sad news, Mitt Romney has pulled out of the Presidential race. I still am completely stumped by who these crazies voting for McCain are, but to each their own. I am now officially pro-democrat and will not be voting in November's election. Let's hope Hillary or Obama win in November and then we can count the days for 2 years until Republicans can get control in Congress again (let's hope). Let's just pray they don't do too much damage to our country in those two years. Then 2 years later we can hopefully get a true conservative in the White House and representing the Republican Party. I don't trust McCain at all and cannot in any way support him.
Well moving past all this depressing news, here is a video I saw of Glenn Beck sharing a little about his conversion. I think he's great and it was neat to hear a little of his conversion story. Sadly I can't quite figure out how to post the video in the blog so it's only a link right
